This was a common problem with 2013 vintage laptops that Apple has thankfully corrected. The display coating issue never really bothered me so I waited until I knew I was going to sell the machine to have the display replaced so the new owner could have a brand-new display. In many ways this machine will look and feel like a new machine. The rest of the laptop (processor, bottom casing, keyboard, etc.) is classified as used. This machine is in excellent working order and has been well cared for by a female PhD student. The only noticeable signs of use are on the bottom of the machine as pictured. Includes MagSafe Power adapter and a protective suede sleeve designed and made specifically for this machine by SF Bags in San Francisco California as pictured.
